This blog is going to be for our club wrestlers as well. They are the future of EN Wrestling and also deserve recognition. Healthy weight control. This will help you! IT'S EASY!!!!!!
If you havent gotten on his email list do it. Steve Preston has taught me a lot so far for weight cutting and lifting for wrestling.
WEIGHT CONTROL
It's really important that wrestlers eat the correct ratio of food when they are cutting weight. I have recommended a diet that contains about 40% of calories from protein, 30% of calories from carbohydrates and 30% of calories from healthy fats.
But let's face it... who has time to sit down, figure it out, eat correctly... all while going to school, studying, practicing, working out, etc.?
A great formula you can use to supplement meals is Muscle Milk. Muscle Milk is a protein formula that contains protein, carbohydrates and fats in a similiar ratio to the 40/30/30 approach to eating that I recommend for weight-cutting...
Muscle Milk can be found in most health foods store, WalMarts, even grocery stores.
The best part... the stuff tastes great!!
